3. Middleware installation and configuration

3.1 IBM Installation Manager 1.5.3:

 WebSphere V8.0 is installed using the IBM Installation Manager (IM) so we must install this first. You can download IM

1.5.3 from http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032358.

 Unzip locally on your machine and run install to begin the IM installation...this will display the following screen.

 Select Next to continue...

 Accept the license agreement and select Next


