For all servers, we used SAP ERP 6.0 (ERP) with the NetWeaver
7.01 kernel and IBM DB2 LUW version 9.1.
We also used a Cisco Catalyst 2948-G switch.
BEST PRACTICE: Use the latest tested and validated
software, firmware, and driver versions for NICs, storage
arrays, and other components. Red Hat Network (RHN)
allows you to easily update your packages and receive
security notices customized for your system.
